Waterproofing systems
Vinyl deck waterproofing
The core system: a single-ply 60 mil PVC sheet that is the waterproofing and the finished floor at once.

Waterfront properties get the worst of the weather and the best of the view. The surface has to survive wind-driven rain hitting it sideways, salt air, and a damp that never fully leaves between October and April.
Exposure Coastal / marine
Duradek's PVC membrane is formulated with the elasticity to expand and contract through that cycle without cracking, chipping or peeling. Mould and mildew inhibitors are built into the sheet rather than applied to it, so they do not wash off with the first winter.
It is also textured, which matters more on a waterfront deck than anywhere else. A surface that is permanently wet needs to be slip-resistant when wet, and comfortable enough to cross barefoot on the way back from the dock.
It gets installed once. After that it needs a wash, and nothing else.
Duradek is one sheet doing two jobs. It is the waterproofing and it is the floor you walk on, which means there is no seam between the two for water to find.
Where it matters most is the point the drawing shows on the left: the membrane turns up the wall and sits behind the cladding, so the drainage plane runs unbroken from the deck into the building envelope. That detail is invisible when we are finished. It is also the reason the deck is still dry long after a caulked joint would have let go.

Deck construction
Turn a flat roof into a private terrace with one membrane that is both the roof and the walking surface.
Sundeck waterproofing
The cheapest usable square footage you can add to a house — and it roofs whatever is underneath.

More levels means more transitions, and every transition is somewhere water can get in.
